I made something similar and used it extensively until I learned it. Each level of housing requires higher desirability. * Even large tents have a desirability requirement. * Entertainment requirements can be fudged somewhat by having very good citywide coverage. Any road connection, no matter how long and twisted, will be used by market ladies to try to steal your patrician's steaks to feed the shack-dwellers. * All housing will attempt to grab all available food types. To prevent accidental upgrades, restrict services. Grand insulae will store, but not use, wine. ![]() * Housing will attempt to grab goods for the next level up. * Doctors are highly recommended even for tents, but not required.
